About The Position

As a CACI Mission & Engineering Support Modeling and Simulation Analyst supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will contribute to Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense, interagency, and coalition partners. The JNWC, located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, is the DOD’s Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration. You will provide modeling and simulation support for coordinated employment of space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations, supporting joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and NAVWAR operations across domains and military operations. You will assess offensive and defensive NAVWAR capabilities in contested environments, identify knowledge gaps, and develop tactics, techniques, and procedures to mitigate NAVWAR vulnerabilities. The role involves reverse engineering existing NAVWAR signal-processing solutions and helping define mission-compliant system architectures. You will support RF solution requirements for airborne mission environments, perform Hardware-in-the-Loop testing on systems susceptible to PNT/GPS denial or deception, review vendor hardware and software, develop simulation algorithms and models, research signal-processing algorithms, and collaborate with customers to integrate solutions. You will also debug, test, and validate capabilities through unit tests and scenarios reported by JNWC or its customers.

Requirements

  • Active Interim Secret clearance with eligibility to upgrade to Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience researching and developing multifunction small-form-factor payloads for NAVWAR-based missions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and analyze models of novel algorithmic concepts to produce distributed electronic sensing effects for NAVWAR payloads.
  • Prior leadership or management experience in higher-level roles, including the ability to lead teams and projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer existing NAVWAR signal-processing solutions.
  • Synthesize, allocate, and derive system requirements to create a fully defined, mission-compliant system architecture.
  • Support development and implementation of client requirements for RF solutions, including services, products, technologies, and capabilities for airborne mission environments.
  • Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing on systems susceptible to PNT/GPS denial or deception.
  • Support technical reviews of vendor hardware and software products and deliverables.
  • Interface with development teams and create software algorithms and models for simulation.
  • Research state-of-the-art signal-processing algorithms.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to integrate solutions into a range of applications and use cases.
  • Debug, test, and validate capabilities through unit tests and scenarios reported by JNWC or its customers.

Benefits

  • Flexible time off benefit.
  • Learning resources and learning and development opportunities.
  • Healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off benefits.
