TRIUMF, Canada's particle accelerator centre, is seeking a motivated co-op student to support the installation and testing of a 1.3 GHz solid-state amplifier for the E-linac. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in RF engineering by assisting with system installation, integration, calibration, and troubleshooting, conducting RF measurements, and analyzing performance data. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of RF systems in a real-world accelerator engineering environment while collaborating with engineers on a high-impact technical project. We hold weekly ProD sessions for students which include different activities such as conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and active listening.
