RF Design Intern, AI focus

MACOM•Morrisville, NC

About The Position

MACOM’s MMIC Business Unit designs MMICs for cellular, aerospace and defense, and other wireless applications. The RF Design Intern will work with the AI project team and a GaN MMIC design team on a project supporting the design of a GaN MMIC power amplifier or developing AI agents to improve the cycle time and efficiency of aspects of the MMIC design flow. The project will be tailored to the candidate’s experience and the current state of AI-driven design at MACOM, with the aim of delivering achievable business results. The 12-week, full-time internship provides an individual, well-defined project with outcome goals, hands-on experience, training and ongoing supervision. Interns are invited to an intern webinar series and networking and social events, present project successes and pitfalls at a poster session, and receive formal written feedback. Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be U.S. persons: U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status.
