About The Position

Leidos’ Defense Systems - Sensor Research and Analysis Division is seeking an RF Algorithm Developer to support the division’s algorithm development efforts, focusing on RF seeker signal processing capabilities and concepts of operations. The division performs radar design, hardware builds, algorithm and software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, and analysis across research, development, and operational tasks. The role involves maintaining familiarity with fielded systems supported by the division, investigating emerging RF seeker technologies, and developing studies to educate customers on seeker technology advancements. Studies may include provisional MATLAB modeling, closed-loop simulation, and validation on radar hardware. The developer presents study progress and findings to government and prime contractor stakeholders and collaborates with division colleagues on radar development and testing activities. The position is based in the Huntsville–North Alabama area and is not remote or work-from-home. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess and be able to maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
