About The Position

The Rework Technician is responsible for following the planned maintenance schedule for regular maintenance and repairs. This role ensures timely repairs of equipment at the site, conducts regular inventory of spare parts for equipment failures, and maintains a safe stock of spare parts. The technician will be familiar with the company's site management system and have a good understanding of the electrical and structural principles of the company's products. After training, they will understand and master product commissioning procedures and be familiar with various product installation, commissioning, and maintenance manuals. Proficient in various commissioning skills such as software upgrades, parameter configuration, and DMC/HVAC settings, the technician will be skilled in troubleshooting various types of faults, capable of independent problem-solving, and resolving commissioning challenges based on on-site conditions. They will strictly adhere to on-site maintenance safety requirements, proactively identify and report potential safety risks, and assess the overall power station's operational status upon arrival at the site, determining maintenance priorities based on the severity of the impact on power station operation. The role involves completing work logs, categorizing and recording faults, and describing daily work content. Developing maintenance plans in advance and completing routine maintenance tasks on schedule is crucial. Planning spare parts inventory and setting safety stock levels for vulnerable components based on project failure rates is also a key responsibility. The technician will properly label faulty spare parts, record fault times, fault types, and power station numbers. Promptly providing feedback and actively repairing major and special maintenance issues, responding to customer complaints in a timely manner, and improving customer satisfaction are expected. Summarizing maintenance conditions based on the power station's daily maintenance report and regularly providing feedback to management on power station operation is required. Safely storing important tools and equipment, using provided vehicles according to regulations, and reporting and escalating to management as needed are also part of the role. Successfully managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors, and cooperating and communicating effectively with a multinational team under demanding timelines are essential. The technician will also train, coach, and mentor new members of the maintenance team and represent the Department at internal and external meetings when instructed. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Familiar with the company's site management system.
  • Good understanding of the electrical and structural principles of the company's products.

  • Technical diploma in relevant fields.
  • 2 years’ experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
  • Solar or power battery facility work background preferred.
