Requirements

  • Must be 20 years of age
  • Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred
  • Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and/or squatting frequently.
  • May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support management by directing activities required to achieve all store goals, including world-class guest service, sales objectives, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation while driving both associate and guest engagement.
  • Provide guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and presenting a clean, well-maintained store environment.
  • Foster a guest-focused team environment by anticipating guest’s needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to Revival service standards; coach associates on guest interactions to increase transactions and capture guest opportunities.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty when managers are not present.
  • Help develop the team to accomplish store’s business objectives through coaching, investment, retention, and motivation.
  • Create a learning environment for associates.
  • Address guest concerns, coming to resolution when possible, and involving management where appropriate.
  • Share information and communicate clearly to all levels of the team.
  • Hold self and employees accountable for achievement of financial results and statistical standards.
  • Manage conflict and coach by applying company’s recommended processes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Empower and involve associates in decision-making processes.
  • Foster team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributions.

  • Acknowledge, interact, and build relationships with guests; create guest loyalty.

  • Ensure attainment of sales and inventory shortage goals.
  • Implement merchandise presentation, restocking, and recovery to maximize productivity.
  • Understand the Altar’d State culture, and ensure compliance with all Altar’d State values & practices, and store operational standards.
  • Consistently meet or exceed store and individual goals of Sales Per Hour (SPH), Dollars Per Transaction (DPT), and Units Per Transaction (UPT), and contribute to the store’s overall goals.
  • Control workflow through successful planning and delegation.
  • Execute task directives within designated timeframes.
  • Complete opening/closing procedures and tasks as directed by management with a guest focus.
  • Adhere to loss prevention practices and be aware of and report potential incidents, to ensure shortage control and to protect company assets.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report any potential hazards.
  • Participate and assist in the preparation for the store’s inventory.
  • Participate in store walk-throughs with the team, communicating successes and opportunities in key store areas.
  • Communicate effectively with the executive team.
  • Recommend ideas to improve standards and processes.
  • Report to work as scheduled; record time worked accurately by using the time and attendance system; remain flexible to the needs of the business.
  • Receive feedback and foster dialogue around solutions.
  • Maintain an awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicate with the team.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
  • Assist in the construction of merchandising and window displays.
  • Represent the brand by adhering to appropriate standards of dress and grooming.
