The Revit Drafter is responsible for assisting the design team with construction projects by developing Revit drawings and details. This role involves using technology like Matterport for site measures, creating as-built drawings and BIM models in Revit, and collecting project data related to codes and regulations. The drafter will develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents in Revit, ensuring they are clear, concise, and complete for building permits and construction. Communication with city and county officials regarding permitting requirements, and collaboration with outside engineers and consultants to incorporate their information into the construction drawing set are key aspects of the role. The position also requires participation in team goals, personal skill development, and timely completion of redline notes. Additionally, the Revit Drafter will create 3D renderings for client presentations, maintain the Revit library, help assemble client presentations, and contribute to process improvement.
