About The Position

WDF Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Revit/BIM/Stratus Engineer for its Mount Vernon, NY office and NY Metro area project sites. The role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of digital construction workflows for building projects, with a focus on intelligent 3D models using Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, and Stratus Fabrication to enable collaboration among design, detailing, and field teams. The engineer develops and maintains MEP models, creates fabrication-ready models and construction documents, manages BIM workflows and model data, and supports model-based estimating and digital fabrication. The position also provides technical support and training to project teams and contributes to process improvements and emerging VDC technologies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
2–5 years of experience in BIM/Revit modeling within the building construction industry.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Stratus.
Understanding of construction sequencing, detailing, and coordination workflows.
Strong grasp of BIM standards, including LOD, BEP, and COBie, and coordination best practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Passion for digital construction and continuous process improvement.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
Experience using Revit Stratus, BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
Field or fabrication experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or structural trades is a plus.
Familiarity with point cloud data, laser scanning, and model-to-field applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3D Revit models for MEP systems in accordance with company and project BIM standards.
Create and update fabrication-ready models linked with Stratus, coordinating them with shop drawings and field installation.
Produce construction documents, schedules, and assemblies from the BIM environment.
Maintain accurate as-built models as projects progress.
Set up and manage BIM workflows in Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and ACC environments.
Integrate and synchronize model data among Revit, Navisworks, Stratus, and ERP or fabrication systems.
Support preconstruction and estimating teams with model-based quantity takeoffs and visualizations.
Ensure compliance with company BIM Execution Plans and quality standards.
Manage model exports, spool drawings, and parts lists for fabrication and installation using Stratus.
Coordinate with fabrication shops on model accuracy, part tagging, and status tracking.
Assist in developing and optimizing digital fabrication workflows.
Provide technical support to project teams using Revit, Stratus, and BIM-related tools.
Train staff in model navigation, data extraction, and field use of BIM technology.
Contribute to process improvement and implementation of emerging VDC technologies.
