About The Position

CTI is seeking a Revit BIM Coordinator specializing in Audio Visual and Low Voltage Systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex technology concepts into clear, consultant-grade drawings and models for architectural, MEP, and structural partners. The position is primarily hands-on production with added responsibility for BIM standards and coordination leadership. You will be working in Revit daily, producing project deliverables and helping to drive the team's modeling, coordination, and issuance of consistent, high-quality documentation. This is not an entry-level role, and we are looking for someone with hands-on experience producing high-quality Revit documentation in a consulting or design environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience using Revit to produce consultant-grade construction documentation in a consulting or design environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM Collaborate Pro, and familiarity with CAD-to-Revit workflows.
  • Experience coordinating work within multidisciplinary models and project teams.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, organized plans, sections, details, and schedules.
  • Understanding of architectural and construction documentation processes and standard consultant drawing conventions.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction while asking the right questions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Employment eligibility verification is required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • AV, low voltage, or technology consulting experience.
  • Structured cabling and pathway knowledge.
  • Navisworks or ACC Model Coordination experience.
  • Dynamo scripting or Revit add-ins.
  • Relevant certifications (Autodesk, CTS, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Revit models and drawing sets across SD, DD, and CD, translating technology requirements into coordinated device layouts and infrastructure documentation, including required architectural and electrical support elements.
  • Produce infrastructure drawings to support coordination with architectural and engineering design teams, including pathways, mounting, and backboxes.
  • Convert CAD base plans into usable Revit files to support modeling and drawing production.
  • Coordinate scope within linked or detached architectural, structural, and MEP models, supporting clash and spatial coordination, attending coordination meetings, and communicating conflicts or discrepancies to the PM/DE for resolution.
  • Partner with the PM/DE to set schedules, priorities, and time expectations for assigned tasks and deliverables.
  • Incorporate PM/DE markups and direction into consultant models and drawing sets (TA, TN, TY), ensuring documentation reflects design intent.
  • Maintain Revit project setup, templates, standards, and families in alignment with CTI standards.
  • Manage model sharing, publishing, and version control across ACC/BIM Collaborate Pro and related documentation workflows, ensuring alignment between live and linked models, exports, and issued drawing packages across all project phases.
  • Perform QA/QC to confirm accuracy, consistency, and completeness prior to issuance, including peer review of other team members’ work when required.
  • Provide guidance to other Revit team members on CTI standards and Revit best practices.
  • Drive BIM standards development for the team by building and improving templates, families, parameters, and documentation workflows; document standards and roll out updates across projects.
  • Own BIM governance (lightweight) by completing periodic model health and standards audits (naming, parameters, views/sheets, worksharing, publishing packages) and helping ensure consistent application of CTI standards across active projects.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $75,000–$110,000/yr (DOE).
  • Employer-matched medical and dental insurance (available after 60 days of employment).
  • Employer matched 401K up to 3% (after 6 months of employment).
  • Monthly bonus eligibility that is based off a results-oriented incentive plan (after 3 months of employment).
  • A graduated PTO program.
  • All major holidays off.
  • Three “floating” holidays available upon your first day of employment.
  • Special gifts for significant life events, such as marriage, childbirth, and house buying.
  • Cell phone reimbursement plan.
  • Long- and Short-Term Disability 100% paid by CTI.
