About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is seeking a part-time Reviewer to evaluate student project submissions. This remote position involves using pre-existing rubrics to provide specific, applicable, and supportive feedback to students, encouraging them to ask questions and resubmit projects to demonstrate mastery. Reviewers will also work with deans, participate in group meetings, and collaborate in virtual teams on special projects. The role requires maintaining in-depth knowledge of curriculum, responding to student outreach within 48 hours, and supporting academic integrity.

Requirements

Masters in Communications or Public Relations
Demonstrated experience in competency-based education
Online teaching experience

Responsibilities

Use rubrics and supplemental information to provide fair and evaluations with encouraging, specific, and feedback
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of every component of curriculum within assigned workload
Swiftly respond to student outreach and return evaluations to students within 48 hours of submission or program expectations
Work with Associate Deans to provide proactive outreach to students in need of academic assistance
Check SNHU email each working day before beginning evaluations
Log work hours in university system
Join Reviewer online community
Attend video and telephone meetings with manager and other team members
Support academic integrity validation and processing potential violations
Participate in quality assurance processes and project improvement activities
Protect student privacy
