We work to drive strategic partnerships, enhance client relationships, and optimize account management strategies. This group is instrumental in expanding our market presence, strengthening client retention, and fostering long-term business relationships that contribute to revenue growth and operational excellence focused on the voice of the customer. As our Revenue Optimization Manager, you'll play an integral role in advancing Safety National's revenue strategies by leveraging data, optimizing processes, and empowering teams to make informed business decisions. In this role, you'll partner closely with revenue teams, leadership, and broker relations professionals to identify growth opportunities, enhance operational efficiencies, and strengthen our approach to revenue optimization. You'll transform complex data into meaningful insights, develop innovative reporting solutions, and help shape revenue goals across the organization. Your expertise in analytics, CRM systems, and business intelligence tools will be essential in driving continuous improvement and ensuring our teams have the information and resources needed to succeed.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related analytical field is required.
  • 5 or more years of progressive experience in revenue, sales, marketing, business operations, business analytics, or a related field.
  • 2 or more years of experience in analytical reporting and data visualization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce, Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable business strategies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales, marketing, business processes, and application development concepts.
  • Ability to analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations that support organizational objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information and complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across departments and adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Willingness and ability to travel overnight, including visits to regional offices, as business needs require.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience developing CRM reports, business intelligence dashboards, data visualizations, and automated reporting solutions.
  • Experience using Salesforce to support sales operations, pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and data quality initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the commercial insurance industry, including broker relationships, revenue operations, and insurance sales processes.
  • Experience applying statistical forecasting techniques and historical data analysis to support revenue planning and goal development.
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams on CRM enhancements, workflow automation, system integrations, and user experience improvements.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical training to non-technical audiences, including creating training materials and best practices documentation.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms for maintaining process documentation and training resources.
  • Experience evaluating sales territory performance, productivity metrics, and opportunities for revenue optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor revenue metrics, forecasts, and leading indicators to identify emerging trends, evaluate performance, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with revenue teams and broker carrier relations professionals to develop growth strategies, improve business processes, and enhance the sales, onboarding, and renewal experience.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources and develop comprehensive reports, interactive dashboards, and analytical models using Excel, Salesforce, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools.
  • Support the development of annual revenue growth goals across the enterprise, broker relationships, regional offices, teams, and individuals through historical analysis and statistical forecasting.
  • Oversee Salesforce pipeline data quality, enrichment, and maintenance to support accurate reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the sales technology stack, identifying opportunities to improve user experience, streamline processes, and enhance system capabilities.
  • Partner with Systems Operations and internal analytics teams to coordinate Salesforce enhancements, automation initiatives, data improvements, and user adoption.
  • Champion data literacy by developing and delivering Salesforce training, maintaining best practices documentation, and helping employees effectively leverage available tools and information.
  • Evaluate territory assignments and productivity trends to recommend adjustments that support revenue growth and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop compelling sales presentations and strategic reports that combine quantitative insights, industry intelligence, and market trends.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, business intelligence capabilities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Travel to regional offices as needed to facilitate training, strengthen collaboration, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.
