Revenue Operations Manager - Revenue Planning & Insights

BettermentNew York, NY
$120,000 - $145,000Hybrid

About The Position

Betterment is seeking an analyst and builder for its Revenue Operations team to act as a force multiplier for the go-to-market organization. This role involves tackling ambiguous, high-impact questions, defining problems, designing solutions, and driving them through build, adoption, and continuous improvement. The role operates in three modes: driving the analytical core (forecasting, executive reporting, revenue planning, QBR-grade analyses, quota and target analytics), building net-new systems (internal tools, data models, reporting infrastructure), and leveraging AI to enhance Revenue Operations (AI-assisted tooling, account scoring, automating manual work). The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a systems mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and adoption. This role is based in the NYC office.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Go-to-Market Analytics, or Business Operations, or a highly analytical operating role.
  • Ability to investigate open-ended business questions, determining the right data, methodology, and solution.
  • SQL fluency and comfort handling large, intricate datasets.
  • A systems mindset: anticipate edge cases, understand downstream impacts, and design scalable solutions.
  • Fluency with modern AI tools to accelerate analysis, problem-solving, and development.
  • Strong analytical instincts and business judgment.
  • Executive-ready communication skills.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, revenue planning, quota planning, executive reporting, or other core Revenue Operations planning processes.
  • Hands-on experience working with Salesforce data.
  • Experience building reporting and dashboards with BI tools such as Tableau.

Nice To Haves

  • Python or other GTM tooling, such as Clay.

Responsibilities

  • Build and continuously improve the reporting engine end to end, including data models, infrastructure, and reporting/forecasting rhythms.
  • Partner with teams to fix upstream CRM design, process, or data quality issues at the source.
  • Own QBR processes, including analyses using large, complex datasets and presenting findings and recommendations to go-to-market leadership.
  • Contribute to revenue planning, quota and target setting, including capacity-based quota analysis, attainment and distribution analysis, and repeatable quarterly target-update processes.
  • Investigate complex business questions with no established playbook, determining the right data, methodology, and level of analysis.
  • Build internal tools using AI-assisted development, balancing speed with accuracy, maintainability, and security.
  • Architect solutions by translating business problems into clear requirements, decision logic, and success criteria, and driving execution with partner teams.
