About The Position

Roo is seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst to build the systems and reporting for Relief-to-Hire, its business helping hospitals hire veterinary professionals they meet through relief shifts. The role is accountable for creating a trusted placement pipeline that runs with less manual follow-up. It is a hands-on operations role, not limited to reporting: the analyst will move placement activity from messages and spreadsheets into a structured CRM pipeline with clear stages, automated handoffs, and shared metrics. The analyst will build and own the pipeline, establish deal-data standards, and ensure placement revenue is attributed appropriately. They will create recurring scorecards and forecasts, identify bottlenecks, and work with Platform and Finance on automated invoicing and workflow automation. They will also design and assess experiments and extend the pipeline and reporting to Canada as the business launches there. Roo describes itself as a remote-first company. The role is hybrid for candidates based in San Francisco. Compensation varies by geographic tier, skills, experience, and location. Roo offers benefits to permanent, full-time employees, including learning and growth opportunities, stipends, health benefits, a 401(k), unlimited paid time off, and paid family and reproductive care leave.

Requirements

  • Experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or business analytics at a marketplace, staffing, recruiting, or SaaS company.
  • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience with a BI tool.
  • Hands-on CRM administration experience, such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Ability to turn an unclear process into actionable requirements for engineers and operators.
  • Experience changing a team's workflow collaboratively.

  • Rigor with data, including checking surprising figures against a second source before sharing them.
  • Experience with cohort analysis, including recognizing when recent cohorts are too new to interpret.
  • Clear, concise writing.
  • Fluency with AI as a way of working, including using it to automate personal work.
  • High agency and coachability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with recruiting or placement funnels.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the Relief-to-Hire CRM pipeline, with stages that reflect the placement funnel.

  • Identify where deals stall and estimate the value of fixing each funnel step.
  • Ensure placement revenue is attributed correctly across business units that share it.
  • Own the business requirements for automated placement invoicing in partnership with Platform and Finance.
  • Write requirements for lifecycle and workflow automations and measure whether each automation worked.
  • Set up and analyze tests on fees, terms, and outreach, defining the holdout before launch.
  • Extend the pipeline and reporting to Canada when the business launches there as Locum-to-Hire.
  • Help launch automated placement invoicing in the US and then Canada.
  • Reduce the time Career Pathways managers spend on manual updates.

  • 401(k).
  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • Paid maternity, paternity, and reproductive care leave.
  • Birthday and anniversary gifts.
