Revenue Operations Analyst

Built Technologies•Nashville, TN

About The Position

Built Technologies is seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst to support the operational backbone of its revenue organization, which serves teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Customer Support. The analyst will lead key analytical and operational initiatives, turn CRM and business data into actionable insights, identify process gaps, and improve consistency, efficiency, and alignment across the revenue organization. The role emphasizes an AI-native approach to operations: identifying ways to redesign workflows, automate repetitive work, surface insights, and improve the scalability and quality of decision-making. The analyst will work with growing autonomy and provide reliable work and insights to revenue leaders and cross-functional partners. Built connects lenders with owners, developers, and general contractors in real estate and construction finance. Its platform supports processes such as construction draw management, compliance, and the flow of capital through real estate projects.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Finance Operations, or a related analytical and operational role.
  • Experience ideally gained in SaaS, fintech, or another complex B2B revenue environment, working across the customer lifecycle from pipeline through closed-won, billing, expansion, and renewal.
  • Curiosity about using AI and automation to redesign workflows, automate repetitive validation, surface exceptions, and improve decision-making.
  • Ability to identify recurring process friction, unclear ownership, manual work, and information breakdowns; document processes, identify root causes, and recommend scalable improvements.
  • Ability to independently manage recurring operational processes and analytical work, coordinate across functions, and proactively resolve gaps.
  • Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail, including the ability to question data definitions and assumptions, investigate anomalies, validate against source data, and distinguish reporting issues from underlying business changes.
  • Ability to explain findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, translate analysis into recommended actions, and follow issues through resolution.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Gong to manage pipeline, surface customer insights, and inform sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Run the weekly Salesforce pipeline review, identify stale opportunities and missing next steps, flag changes to close dates or deal values that may affect the forecast, and work with account owners to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate customer-lifecycle handoffs across Marketing, Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Customer Success, from lead through closed-won, invoicing, expansion, and renewal.
  • Review closed-won deals for documented approvals, signed terms, products, lines of business, pricing types, and revenue assumptions; resolve gaps that could affect forecasting, billing, or customer handoffs.
  • Compare opportunities, deal documentation, billing inputs, and financial reports to identify missing or inconsistent revenue streams.
  • Support invoice questions by checking billed amounts against contracts and amendments, and track discrepancies through resolution with Finance and account teams.
  • Review dashboards and recurring reports for sound definitions, accurate inputs, and faithful representation of business activity; use AI and other tools to investigate anomalies and recommend reporting changes.
  • Maintain forecast inputs, compare projected bookings and revenue with actual results, investigate variances, and work with stakeholders to improve future forecasts.
  • Document recurring processes, clarify handoff ownership, and address recurring delays or errors affecting deals, billing, and reporting.
  • Provide historical analysis and scenario support for territory, quota, and revenue planning.
  • Use automation and approved AI tools to reduce manual work, identify exceptions earlier, and make recurring validation more efficient.
  • Leverage AI tools for drafting, analysis, summarization, and problem-solving; identify workflow improvements, apply AI to decision-making and strategic insights, and share effective use cases and practices with the team.
