About The Position

Podium is seeking an Enablement Specialist to join their Sales Enablement team. This role will focus on accelerating the productivity of new Account Executives (AEs) across various verticals like HVAC, Automotive, and MedSpa. The specialist will be responsible for structured onboarding, rep ramp programs, certifications, and ongoing training to ensure AEs are well-prepared to engage with prospects. The position reports directly to the Sr. Enablement Manager, and the individual will collaborate with AE team leads to equip new representatives with the necessary skills and knowledge before they interact with live prospects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience as an Account Executive, or 1+ years in a Sales Enablement role
  • Consistent quota attainment or strong performance track record in your current role
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or onboarding peers — formal or informal
  • Strong communicator who can present and facilitate, not just sell
  • Organized and process-driven — you can manage multiple reps through a structured ramp simultaneously
  • Genuine interest in enablement as a career path, not a break from closing
  • High agency

  • Learning trajectory — You’re excited about using AI to build. You see this as the future of product work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Gong, Salesforce, or an LMS — you know how to use call recordings to give coaching grounded in evidence, not impressions
  • Prior experience building training content — a sales playbook, onboarding guide, or certification checklist — and something to show for it
  • Familiarity with HVAC/home services, automotive, or MedSpa verticals
  • Experience selling into or working with SMB service businesses
  • Comfortable using Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools in your day-to-day work — you’re not just aware of AI, you’re already putting it to use

Responsibilities

  • Run structured new AE onboarding programs (weeks 1–4+) covering demo certification, product knowledge, and vertical-specific training
  • Build and deliver transition training for SDR → AE and AE → Core AE promotions
  • Facilitate bi-weekly training sessions across all verticals — product updates, demo coaching, objection handling, deal review
  • Partner with managers to run structured coaching programs for reps on PIPs or performance plans
  • Own curriculum maintenance — keeping onboarding content current as the product, messaging, and competitive landscape evolve
  • Track rep progress through ramp, flag at-risk new hires early, and give managers a consistent view of cohort readiness
