About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management & Central Reservations, the Revenue & Distribution Specialist plays a key role in executing revenue and distribution strategies across Freed Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of three resort properties. This position is responsible for managing inventory, rate execution, and channel performance to support overall revenue objectives and respond to market demand. The role leverages data-driven analysis and reporting to inform decision-making and optimize performance. As a subject matter expert in systems and tools, the Specialist ensures technology is effectively utilized to support revenue execution and deliver a seamless guest booking experience across all channels.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with BI/reporting tools
  • Strong systems aptitude with the ability to optimize tools and processes
  • Results-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in multi-property environment
  • Experience in revenue management, financial analysis, pricing or a related hospitality discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Opera Cloud (PMS) is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director on rate strategies, inventory controls, and restrictions across all distribution channels
  • Monitor accuracy and consistency of rates, availability, and content across PMS, CRS, brand.com, and third-party channels
  • Monitor channel performance, identifying opportunities to optimize mix, profitability, and conversion
  • Oversee and maintain booking windows, rate fences, and inventory allocation to support revenue optimization
  • Maintain packages, promotions, and offers across all relevant systems
  • Analyze key performance indicators including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pace, pick-up, segmentation, and channel mix
  • Monitor performance against forecast and budget, providing variance analysis and actionable insights
  • Conduct competitive set and market analysis to inform pricing and positioning decisions
  • Translate complex and disparate data into clear, concise reporting that supports decision-making
  • Maintain reporting tools to enhance visibility and operational efficiency
  • Support the Director in refining pricing and yield strategies through data-driven insights
  • Act as a primary user and subject matter expert for Opera Cloud (PMS) and related reservations and distribution systems to support in process and training needs
  • Evaluate system usage and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and sales performance, providing recommendations to Director of Revenue Management for effectiveness.
  • Recommend enhancements, tools, or integrations that support revenue optimization and call centre effectiveness
  • Support the Director of Revenue Management in the development of training tools, guides and facilitation of materials.
