The Revenue Distribution Coordinator is responsible for billing functions for Government Services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Considerable experience with high volume and fast paced transactions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Intermediate computer skills using MS Word and MS Excel
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Ability to adjust focus
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and taste or smell
  • The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in billing/auditing is preferred
  • Prior experience interpreting billing contracts, tariffs and/or rate schedules
  • Bi-lingual skills are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Audit and invoice for transportation, packing and accessorial services
  • Understand and interpret client and agent contracts, rate schedules and tariffs as needed
  • Analyze, distribute and process revenue; apply commission plan to service providers
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors and client
  • Upload customer invoices into web portal or database
  • Communicate with internal and external clients and provide excellent customer service
