About The Position

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist to provide billing support in a friendly, positive, and professional manner in an outpatient healthcare environment. The role interacts with third-party payers to file claims for services rendered and assists clients with payment for services. This is an on-site position at 503 Farrell Drive, Covington, Kentucky, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or commercial payors.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to analyze billing issues and formulate logical, objective conclusions and/or recommendations for solutions.
• Proficiency with computers and business software, particularly Electronic Health Record systems and Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or higher.
• At least 2 years of prior medical billing and/or coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Support NorthKey Community Care staff and clients with billing matters in a polite, courteous, and professional manner.
• Submit billing data to third-party payers and work claims to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided.
• Post charges and complete claims to payers in a timely manner.
• Assist, cooperate, and communicate with staff regarding fiscal matters in the billing department.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
