Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in payment posting or transaction processing
  • Must have computer knowledge and accurate keyboard skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
  • Problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Typing – 50+ WPM
  • Knowledge of insurance plans, workers’ compensation, and personal injury, accounting
  • Ability to effectively interact with doctors, attorneys, patients, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Enter payments and adjustments into the system with accuracy.
  • Obtain settlement information as needed.
  • Reconcile payment batches with the deposited amount/EOB
  • Process credit card payments
  • Maintain a daily log of incoming checks for deposit.
  • Other duties as assigned.
