In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of our revenue cycle management, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of Managed Care Part B claims. You'll collaborate closely with our nursing center staff, playing a key role in maintaining impeccable records and achieving outstanding remittance payments on the first pass. Your sharp eye for detail and proactive approach will directly contribute to our business goals of improving billing quality, driving strong collection performance, and ultimately reducing bad debt.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or four or more years’ experience in accounting, billing, or collections in a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with nursing center staff to guarantee that verifications, authorizations, and documentation align perfectly with payer requirements for clean claim submissions.
- Make decisions on the next steps needed to ensure claims are paid timely to ensure cash flow for each nursing center.
- Audit the demographic information within our billing system, ensuring accuracy for clean billing and prompt payment.
- Interact with third-party payers as needed to secure payment for pending claims.
- Identify any global payer issues and escalate them to management.
