About The Position

To provide supervision and coordination of Agency billing to ensure the efficient and accurate management of the revenue cycle, from patient registration and appointment scheduling to claims submission, payment processing, and revenue collection.

Requirements

• One-year experience at Administrative level in general office surroundings
• One-year experience in home health care setting
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to type 50 WPM
• Ability to use 10-key by touch
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Two-year college preferred
• Experience with Kinnser/Wellsky heavily preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure Billing staff and MCA (Medical Chart Assessor) are fulfilling job requirements.
• Ensuring accurate and compliant coding and billing practices to maximize reimbursement.
• Fulfills additional performance responsibilities as assigned and as necessary.
• Promotes the agency philosophy and mission by presenting a positive image to patients/families, physicians and community agencies.
• Attends all in-services scheduled or announced unless previously excused.
• Complies with home health care Agency policies and procedures.
• Provides effective written/verbal communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals and maintains confidentiality.
