About The Position
The Corporate Information Services department at UHS is seeking motivated professionals for an Application Analyst (Revenue Cycle) Internship. This internship offers the chance to work on meaningful projects, develop technical skills, collaborate with various teams, and receive mentorship. The role involves implementing technology solutions to improve healthcare quality, safety, patient care, and patient engagement.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related degree from an accredited college or university.
- Student must be rising into senior year (at minimum, must have 1st semester of junior year completed).
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Desire to learn and share ideas in a collaborative work environment
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Participates in lunch and learn sessions to collaborate on UHS IS priorities.
- Participates in IS projects.
- Shadows Information Services employees to learn the different roles.
- Gains familiarity with different healthcare IS systems.
