About The Position

The Financial Service Delivery Branch/Operational Accounting has an opening that will provide the opportunity to apply your excellent financial expertise and client service in a setting that offers challenges and values collaborative teamwork and innovative thinking.

Requirements

5 years related experience in a financial administration environment.
Proficiency in SAP Accounts Receivable or comparable large Enterprise Resource Planning Application (ERP).
Demonstrated ability to analyze and reconcile accounts and determine causes of variances.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Good judgement to identify sensitive and/or urgent issues.
Proficiency in the use of PC computer systems, database systems, internet-based applications, spreadsheets, and word-processing packages is essential.
Attention to detail is very important.

Nice To Haves

A post-secondary degree with a focus in accounting/finance or actively working towards a professional accounting designation will be considered assets.
Working knowledge and/or training in SAP Accounts Payable, General Ledger Business Warehouse would be a definite asset.
Working knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply government policies and procedures would also be an asset.

Analyze and reconcile accounts.
Determine causes of variances.
Research, compile and evaluate information in a timely manner.
Work in a consultative manner with internal and external clients.
Assess constantly changing and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and other pressures in a high volume, team-oriented environment with a customer service focus.
