About The Position

Payscale is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Revenue and Customer Operations Manager to drive insights, scalability, and operational excellence across our entire Go-to-Market (GTM) organization— including Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success. This individual will play a key role in shaping and executing on our strategic initiatives by aligning systems, workflows, and reporting infrastructure to enable revenue growth and customer value realization. You will partner closely with GTM leadership, Finance, Marketing, Business Applications, and Strategy to build robust planning frameworks, maintain data fidelity across tools, and deliver insights that inform executive decision-making.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, FP&A, or Management Consulting (SaaS or recurring revenue preferred).
  • Deep familiarity with GTM motions beyond Sales—specifically Account Management and Customer Success.
  • Expert-level Excel skills including data modeling, nested formulas, and charting
  • Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data structures
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce (admin-level knowledge a plus).
  • Strong fluency in one or more analytics/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Exceptional business acumen with ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience managing complex projects and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfortable interfacing with senior leaders.
  • Strong ownership mentality—proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to GTM leadership in Sales to drive planning, performance tracking, and operational execution.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards, reporting suites, and models (forecasting, capacity, segmentation, etc.) to track pipeline, bookings, retention, and growth KPIs across all GTM.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Support, Product, Implementation, and Sales to align on processes, metrics, and customer outcomes
  • Lead the design and deployment of workflows and system automations in Salesforce and related tools, in partnership with Business Systems.
  • Own recurring GTM reporting deliverables such as MBRs, QBRs, pipeline reviews, and executive reporting packages.
  • Drive and support territory design, quota modeling, and book of business alignment across all GTM functions.
  • Monitor funnel efficiency across both new business and expansion/renewal motions—identify gaps and surface recommendations.
  • Project manage cross-functional GTM initiatives from discovery to rollout—e.g., quota and territory rollouts, new GTM motions, team realignments.
  • Leverage advanced Excel functionality (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, INDIRECT, named ranges, Power Query) to link and manage large data tables
  • Build and maintain complex, multi-tab, multi-dimensional Excel models that support scenario planning, financial forecasting, and operational analysis
