About The Position

Stewart is a global real estate services company, providing title insurance, settlement, underwriting, and lender services through its family of companies. The Revenue Accounting Processor will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on the organization’s financial matters, ensuring compliance with financial policies, professional standards, and all laws. This role manages general accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable, expense reimbursement, and revenue accounting, including accounts receivable.

Requirements

0-2 years of related work experience

Responsibilities

Performs revenue accounting functions related to the posting of payment received, including contacting delinquent customers via phone to secure payment.
Assists with printing and mailing of statements.
Reviews account histories with customers.
Posts payments and manages adjustments to ensure efficiency, time, and accuracy for control and accountability.
Performs monthly account reconciliations and journal entries, including general ledger accounts related to the revenue accounting (accounts receivable) process.
Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes.
Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities.
Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion.
Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members.
Works as an individual contributor under direct supervision with little autonomy.
Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
