Revenue Accounting Manager

About The Position

As the Revenue Accounting Manager, you will serve as the technical subject matter expert and primary driver for the daily execution of our global revenue streams, spanning SaaS, hardware, and services. This role reports to the Director, Revenue Accounting, and is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on the technical accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. You will own the end-to-end revenue close process and maintain robust governance to ensure all reporting remains compliant with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606). Your expertise will be vital in ensuring audit readiness, transparency, and the scalability of our global revenue operations as we continue to expand.

Requirements

  • CPA is highly preferred with a deep technical foundation in ASC 606.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Blend of Big 4 public accounting and hands-on corporate revenue experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Oracle (strongly preferred) and Salesforce.
  • Proven track record of navigating ERP implementations or significant system upgrades.
  • Exceptional skills in complex reconciliations and flux analysis.
  • Ability to distill technical data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
  • Self-starter who operates with the highest ethical standards.
  • Professional independence and confidence required to uphold financial reporting integrity without constant supervision.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, including the high-level preparation of complex journal entries, reconciliations, and oversight of revenue recognition data.
  • Act as the internal consultant for revenue accounting, drafting and maintaining technical accounting memos for revenue conclusions.
  • Serve as the functional owner for revenue-related SOX controls, designing and executing processes that meet compliance standards.
  • Take a lead technical role in the Oracle revenue system enhancement project, partnering with IT for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting logic issues, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to shorten close cycles and leverage automation for scalability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales and Legal to review complex deal structures and communicate potential revenue impacts.
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors during walkthroughs, providing evidence and technical explanations for revenue treatments.
