About The Position

The Revenue Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in leading the end-to-end order-to-cash process, including Accounts Receivable, while providing leadership and development for the Revenue Accounting team. This role oversees revenue reporting, budgeting, account reconciliations, customer credit controls, and process improvements to prevent revenue leakage. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, the Revenue Accounting Manager drives operational efficiency, strengthens financial controls, and supports the company's continued growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration required.
  • 5+ years' experience managing accounting teams and leading process improvements.
  • Highly proficient in Excel; experience with Microsoft D365 is a plus.
  • Familiarity with P&Ls and standard financial statements.
  • Collaborative and analytical profile with demonstrated critical and economic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated high integrity, ethical standards, and complete confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the order to cash accounting process, ensuring policies and internal controls are in place.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable.
  • Build out necessary revenue reporting requirements for various internal and external stakeholders by productline.
  • Lead team members in improving processes and implementing scalable controls for business growth while minimizing revenue leakage.
  • Prepare a monthly budget for actual variance explanations for revenue.
  • Review account reconciliations and journal entries related to revenue prepared by the accounting team.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls over customer credit limits.
  • Establish a process to review customer pricing periodically and suggest price increases within commercial contracts.
  • Participate in cross-functional process improvements, including implementing essential internal controls and support management in ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.
  • Develop processes to meet and exceed KPIs around accounts receivable, such as DSO and aged balances collected.
  • Assist with the annual financial audit.
