About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Returns Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for opening and verifying returned merchandise, scanning merchandise, and placing freight in proper locations. You will also be involved in preparing product for safe shipment and verifying accuracy utilizing computer, shipping label and/or packing list. This position requires cross-trained skills across multiple departments including inbound, outbound, auto store, domestic and international shipping, and receiving. Requirements

• A minimum of (1) one year's experience in Order Fulfillment as an Order Picker and Packer - to include cross-trained skills across multiple departments - inbound, outbound, auto store, domestic and international shipping, receiving.
• Preparing product for safe shipment and verifying accuracy utilizing computer, shipping label and/or packing list.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time. The position will require standing for up to 90% of the shift.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is highly desired. Examples of WMS systems are JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Material handling equipment certification, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
• Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
• Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
• Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
• Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
• Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
• Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
