About The Position

This position is contingent upon the award of a Federal Contract. The Retirement Specialist will be responsible for reviewing retirement packages for voluntary and disability retirement cases, conducting advisory services for these cases, and running retirement estimates while providing advisory services on their content.

Requirements

• Six (6) years of experience in performing the above Retirement support services.
• Knowledge of federal retirement benefits and eligibility and the rules and regulations pertaining to them.
• Skilled in independently reviewing and advising on federal retirement benefits and eligibility.
• Skilled in coding and processing retirement personnel actions IAW OPM's Guide to Processing Personnel Actions.

Responsibilities

• Review retirement packages for voluntary and disability retirement cases.
• Conduct advisory services for voluntary and disability retirement cases.
• Run retirement estimates and conduct advisory services on the content of the estimates.
