On our Client Solutions team, you’ll connect with Sun Life clients by phone, listen closely to their goals, and deliver tailored retirement recommendations that fit their stage of life. This is more than a sales role. It’s about building trust, simplifying complex financial choices, and making a real difference in people’s lives every day.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, you connect easily and authentically
  • A natural ability to listen, understand, and guide others
  • Self motivated and can work independently
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Confidence to ask questions and uncover client needs
  • A growth mindset: you’re motivated to learn and improve
  • Experience in sales or financial services is an asset, but not required
  • Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling wealth products over the phone
  • Completion of a college or university degree
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Financial planner designation (IQPF)
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Canadian Investment Fund Course (IFIC)

Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with Group Retirement Savings plan members through proactive outreach
  • Guide clients through retirement planning conversations, helping them understand their options and feel confident in their decisions
  • Provide personalized financial advice aligned to each client’s goals, life stage, and needs
  • Translate complex financial concepts into simple, relatable guidance
  • Stay curious and continuously learn, keeping up to date on products, tools, and industry trends
