About The Position

As Retention Manager at Kion, you will own revenue and performance across lifecycle marketing channels including email, SMS, direct mail, as well subscription growth and retention. Key responsibilities for this role include - optimizing the full customer lifecycle from first purchase through repeat purchase, subscription adoption, and long term retention. This includes owning campaign planning, flow optimization, and testing initiatives to drive improvements in repeat purchase rate, AOV, and LTV/LTP. This role works closely with the Director of Ecommerce and cross functional teams while partnering with external agencies to execute against a roadmap.

Requirements

  • Highly organized with strong time management and project management skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in DTC with hands on experience in Shopify, Klaviyo, and subscription platforms (Recharge or similar).
  • Commercially minded, able to connect lifecycle efforts to revenue, LTV, repeat purchase rate, and AOV/AOP.
  • Exceptional communicator, able to synthesize data and clearly present insights, performance, and recommendations.
  • Proactive and accountable. Identifies opportunities, takes ownership, and follows through without heavy oversight.
  • Project management experience: managing multiple projects, building out schedules for future promotions and offers, coordinating those efforts across multiple teams.
  • Positive and have an outgoing attitude.

Responsibilities
