About The Position
This is a full-time position at Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. in Newark, Ohio. The Retail Store Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for sorting, organizing, and maintaining warehouse areas, processing customer donations, operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, baling various goods, assisting with truck loading/unloading, and maintaining the cleanliness of the property. The company provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.
Requirements
- Pass pre-employment drug screen which includes THC and a background check.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have the physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and reach as required to complete the job.
- Be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Stand/Walk for 8 hours with breaks
- Work with limited supervision and make independent decisions
Responsibilities
- Sort, organize and maintain warehouse areas
- Take in and sort customer donation from the donation center
- Operate Forklift as well as manual pallet jack
- Bale clothes, paper, cardboard and other goods
- Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading trucks
- Assist Management and co-workers with keeping the inside as well as outside of the property clean
