About The Position

American Home Design is seeking an Event Manager to lead its face-to-face events program. This role is primarily focused on identifying local events for participation, managing, and developing a team of promoters to generate leads. A secondary focus includes supporting the Home Depot lead generation program. The ideal candidate is energetic, a strong coach, and willing to actively participate in lead generation alongside the team. Previous retail or sales management experience, along with sales and lead generation experience, is preferred. Excellent communication, recruitment, and motivational skills are essential, as is a willingness to work weekends.

  • Home Improvement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow leads from local events and shows in Middle TN.
  • Interview, train, hire, and motivate promoters who work at events.
  • Manage promoters, holding them accountable for appointment setting and providing follow-up coaching.
  • Manage sales and marketing reports to ensure goals are met.
  • Support the Home Depot lead generation program.
  • Travel locally for events.
  • Set up and tear down event displays.
