Retail Sales Representative (Cerritos, CA)
About The Position
Dealer Tire, a family-owned, international distributor of tires and parts, is seeking driven, people-focused professionals to join their team as a Retail Tire Sales Representative. This role is based inside a premium OEM automotive dealership, where you will represent Dealer Tire as the go-to tire expert. After completing a comprehensive, fully paid training program, you will engage customers, sell tires to exceed goals, perform tire inspections, identify and explain tire-related issues, recommend service, quote prices, maintain strong relationships with customers and dealership teams, and support store operations. This position offers a higher earning potential, stability, work-life balance, and long-term opportunity compared to typical retail or wireless sales roles.
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail, service, or sales experience.
- Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills.
- A natural relationship builder with strong sales instincts.
- Comfortable using computer-based tools and order systems.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Engaging customers on the service drive and selling tires to exceed assigned goals.
- Performing quick tire inspections.
- Identifying and explaining tire related issues, recommending service, and quoting prices.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and dealership teams.
- Supporting store operations like inventory, opening/closing, and reporting.
Benefits
- Base pay: $28.34 –$30.85/hr to start.
- Target annual commission: $13,200.00
- Guaranteed commission for up to 2 months during onboarding.
