Nespresso is opening a new experiential retail boutique at King of Prussia Mall in June, with training starting mid-May. This full-time Retail Team Sales Lead position offers a unique leadership opportunity with a purpose-driven brand. As an integral member of the retail store leadership team, your primary focus will be delivering excellence in people leadership, sales, service, and operations. You will not only sell but also coach sales associates to become customer experience and product knowledge experts, dedicated to creating exceptional coffee experiences and celebrating team performance.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ yrs. experience in driving sales and lead a team in a high-volume retail environment.
  • You have patience for day-to-day challenges and are resourceful in troubleshooting on the spot.
  • You have effective communication, time management and analytical skills.
  • You are punctual and available to work open and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Function as manager on duty, driving sales by maximizing overall store productivity and building customer relationships through exceptional experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will assist the ASM and SM in leveraging reporting and sales trends to help the store achieve key goals in sales, customer acquisition and service.
  • Ensure store standards are maintained; cleanliness, visual merchandising, and operational tasks (inventory/stock management, TQM compliance, and cash processes). Care about safety and create a safe, healthy environment for employees and customers.
  • Cultivate personalized coffee experiences by using storytelling to share your knowledge of coffee and sustainability practices to build customer relationships.
  • Delight customers with complimentary coffee tastings and highlight your extensive product knowledge. Your expertise will help build the customer base and boost sales.
  • Act to influence and inspire a team to drive sales and service performance through coaching and training.
  • Actively seek and provide feedback, build strong relationships with colleagues, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. You find ways to champion innovative ideas, adapt quickly to changes, and bring a growth mindset to creatively solve problems.
