About The Position
The Retail Team Member works across Food Service and Front-of-Store to create an exceptional customer experience. The role involves preparing food, assisting customers, keeping the store looking its best, and supporting store operations as needed. Team Members are cross-trained and may transition between customer engagement, stocking supplies, and maintaining food displays. The role requires adapting to changing situations and working effectively in a fast-paced environment. The listed starting pay is $13.02–$15.02 per hour. Requirements
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
- Be flexible to work potentially nights, weekends, and holidays due to 24/7 store operations.
- Have a food handler permit if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
- Be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
- Transition between roles, including engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining food displays.
- Prepare Maverik recipes and ensure food displays are clean and ready for customer use.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
- Help keep the store running smoothly and looking its best.
