About The Position

As a Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional experience for every customer. The role is cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store and involves preparing fresh food, helping customers, maintaining the store, and working with a supportive team. Team Members deliver Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service behaviors, keep supplies stocked and food displays clean and appealing, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities. Stores operate 24/7, so schedule flexibility may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $18.35–$20.35 per hour.

Requirements

• Hardworking and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multitask and transition between responsibilities.
• Flexible schedule; stores operate 24/7, and work may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Able to perform the stated physical activities and lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
• Transition between tasks, engage customers, stock supplies, and maintain appealing food displays.
• Prepare Maverik recipes and ensure food displays are clean and ready for customers.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
• Help keep the store running smoothly and assist where needed.
