About The Position

Swedish Match, a Philip Morris International (PMI) affiliate and maker of ZYN nicotine pouches, is seeking a Retail Team Manager to lead sales and execution activities within an assigned territory. This player-coach role combines team leadership with direct account management, driving retail sales, distribution, merchandising, promotional execution, and customer growth strategies.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in retail sales, wholesale grocery, route sales, or related fields.
Proven leadership, coaching, planning, organizational, and team management skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Salesforce, syndicated data, and sales analytics tools.
Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional business objectives.
Manage assigned retail and wholesale accounts while executing strategic business plans.
Drive product distribution, merchandising excellence, promotional execution, and product freshness standards.
Analyze market, sales, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.
Ensure effective routing, call coverage, and execution across the territory.
Monitor business performance, communicate goals, and implement corrective strategies when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development and Strategic/Key Account Managers.
Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and development planning for team members.
Maintain accurate reporting of retail and account metrics.
Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
