About The Position

The Retail Supervisor in Training reports to the Store Manager and serves as a pace setter and role model for customer service. The role ensures Sales Associates in the assigned department or zone exceed customer expectations, and helps train, oversee, and develop associates on store standards. It is a full-time position in Roseville, California, with starting compensation of $20.00 per hour and promotion opportunities every three months based on individual performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to train and develop a team, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Average availability of 32 or more hours per week, subject to business seasonality.
• Open availability on weekends; religious exemptions will be considered.
• Availability restrictions limited to two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key holder.
• Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Supervise the sales floor, monitor breaks, and ensure coverage during peak times according to Daily Work Schedules.
• Ensure visual, cleanliness, cash management, inventory management, and other brand and operational standards are consistently met.
• Ensure the team proactively manages customer needs and exceeds expectations in accordance with UNIQLO service standards, Fundamental Principles, and 6 Standard Phrases.
• Train and develop the team on fitting room and cash wrap standards, and assist in those zones when needed.
• Manage inventory by ensuring merchandise is represented and replenished on the floor in full size runs.
• Assist management in identifying store issues.
• Train the team on product and brand knowledge and ensure that knowledge is conveyed to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
