About The Position

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership for the successful operation of the entire store. The manager builds and leads Associate teams passionate about merchandising and creating exceptional customer experiences, while overseeing financial performance, store operations, staffing, and security.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of retail management experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis, including seasonal periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• Management experience with Walmart, Roses, Bed Bath and Beyond, Big Lots, Tractor Supply, or Rural King translates well to this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and profit goals, payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other initiatives set by Ollie’s Operations leadership.
• Model Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors and ensure company standards are consistently demonstrated in Associate and Customer interactions.
• Execute company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes to meet operational goals and expectations.
• Coach, train, develop, evaluate, supervise, and schedule store associates to meet business needs and staffing budgets.
• Maintain proper security of the store location and company assets.
