About The Position

The Retail Store Manager (RSM) is responsible for the overall sales and operations of the assigned location, including sales achievement, customer service results, operational standards, and inventory. The RSM leads the team, drives performance, and develops, implements, and manages company programs and processes. The role includes occasional participation in outside sales events, community engagements, and promotional activities on behalf of Cricket Wireless. Employees will receive reasonable notice of scheduled events, and participation is a condition of employment. Event duties may include engaging with customers, representing Cricket Wireless products and services, distributing marketing materials, and assisting with setup or breakdown.

Requirements

Two years of proven retail sales management experience, including interactive and commissioned sales.
Two years of experience recruiting, hiring, and developing successful store sales teams.
Strong sales skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
Ability to motivate, lead, and develop others.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to business needs.
Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier, and fax.
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation to assist at other locations within a 30-minute radius of the home store when needed.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Execute in-store sales, service, and customer-experience initiatives.
Lead, coach, inspire, engage, and motivate the team; create an environment where employees can excel.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Educate employees about the compensation plan and how to maximize sales.
Partner with the District Manager and other appropriate parties to launch new products, services, or processes.
Ensure employees are trained on new products and promotions.
Assist Human Resources and Loss Prevention with internal investigations.
Work on the sales floor to coach and develop store personnel.
Schedule and staff to budgeted hours as assigned.
Ensure the store provides a clean and inviting atmosphere for customers.
Follow back-office compliance requirements, processes, procedures, reporting, documentation, and policies.
Respond to communications in a timely manner.
Ensure required store training is completed on time.
Protect company assets.
Participate in outside sales events, community engagements, and promotional activities as required, including customer engagement, product and service representation, marketing-material distribution, and event setup or breakdown.
