About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, which includes maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. The Team Member will deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop the store and find what they’re looking for. This position also involves performing various cleaning tasks, assisting with customer checkout, engaging customers in loyalty programs, supporting omnichannel processes, participating in stocking and inventory, and supporting shrink and safety programs. The role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job, potentially with reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
