About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. The Team Member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping the store and finding products. This position also involves collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, and cleaning assigned areas using specified materials and equipment. Deep cleaning of key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways is also a responsibility to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The role requires keeping cleaning equipment organized and notifying supervisors of supply needs. Team Members are expected to take initiative in identifying and completing cleaning tasks and performing all assigned duties in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with colleagues and customers is crucial, projecting a positive image and serving as a role model. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, promoting Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required for compliance.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.

Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store (bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, high traffic areas).
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
Notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
