About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises. The team member will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and help them find what they need. Key duties involve collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, and moving equipment and products for proper cleaning and placement. The role requires cleaning assigned areas using provided materials and equipment, potentially mixing cleaning solutions. Deep cleaning of key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic zones is essential to maintain a clean and safe environment. The team member must keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisors of supply needs. Proactively identifying and completing cleaning tasks is expected, along with fulfilling all supervisor-assigned duties and adhering to federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with colleagues and customers, projecting a positive image, and serving as a role model are also crucial. Additional duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, promoting and enrolling customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs for compliance with laws and requirements is mandatory.

Requirements

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• Ability to use standard commercial cleaners and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Execute cash handling to standards.

• Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
