Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Ability to pass a clean MVR check (if driving).
Ability to pass employment verification.

Responsibilities

Properly execute the Porter Scope of Work, ensuring buildings are neat and free from clutter and debris.
Pick up trash, sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, clean and stock restrooms.
Use cleaning machines on hard floors and carpeted areas.
Provide superior cleaning services onsite at client locations under limited supervision.
Work collaboratively with other Building Maintenance team members.
Act as a representative and interact with customers, store personnel, and the public in a respectful and friendly manner.
Support and integrate core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety, and Teamwork into daily performance.
Handle all Porter requests as dictated by the client and scope of work.
Perform assignments according to company schedule and client expectations.
Perform all general required tasks as directed by Supervisor.
Handle floor care, including routine sweeping, mopping (dry and damp), vacuuming, and scrubbing when needed.
Spot clean soiled areas as needed.
Conduct restroom cleaning, including cleaning and sanitizing toilets, basins, and urinals; re-stocking restrooms as needed.
Provide other cleaning services such as dusting, trash removal, and window cleaning; wipe clean table tops and chairs; spot clean walls, partitions, and doors; clean mirrors, counters, and fixtures.
Perform area cleaning in deli and bakery areas, restaurant or café areas, offices, and other offstage areas included in the scope of work.
Routinely refer to the daily task list to ensure daily tasks are completed according to customer requirements and expectations.
Report to work as scheduled and on time, and accurately report time worked through phone timekeeping systems.
Ensure schedule is being followed to prevent budget overages.
Address cleaning or scope concerns with onsite store manager as needed or directed.
Work as a team with other Carlson staff members onsite to properly execute customer scope of work on a daily basis.
Operate all floor care machines and cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
Keep storage area organized and supplied, and request needed products through supervisor.
Follow all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
Follow all company policies, including the anti-harassment policy.
Interact respectfully with customers and personnel.
Check that all equipment is in working order and that all necessary materials and equipment are available, including safety signs, tapes, and cones, and immediately inform supervisor of any equipment problems or shortages.
Follow instructions on specific cleaning projects completed each shift.
Report all work-related injuries to supervisor on the date of occurrence.
Immediately report all falls or other injuries (including those of store customers and personnel) to supervisor and to any onsite store manager.
Report store damage to supervisor immediately and clean up as needed.
If working at another location or covering another position, refer to the store’s task list to complete routine as required by the client and within scheduled hours.
Drive a culture of constant improvement, identifying and implementing changes to increase productivity and efficiency of service.
Enforce Sizemore’s policies and procedures as needed.
Perform additional duties assigned, as necessary.
