Full Time Retail Store Associate

About The Position

The Retail Store Associate provides outstanding customer service, maintains a clean and safe store environment, accurately processes customer checkouts, efficiently stocks products, and works collaboratively with the team. The role includes maintaining product presentation, pricing, and signage, as well as participating in inventory counts and store opening and closing procedures. Associates may work in cold environments and must be flexible to meet department demands, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Three or more months of retail experience preferred; food service experience is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Able to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds onto shelving at various heights.
Able to regularly use industrial ladders, including moving them, climbing them, and stocking shelves while on them.
Flexible and willing to work department demands, which may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service through all store engagement activities.
Perform general cleaning duties and help maintain a safe environment.
Process customer purchases and accurately balance the cash drawer.
Stock shelves and maintain product presentation using material handling equipment.
Maintain accurate product pricing and signage.
Participate in store inventory counts and opening and closing procedures.
Work in cold environments as needed.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
