About The Position

The Seasonal Peak Associate supports essential store operations, including register support, freight receiving, and product merchandising in designated areas. The role contributes to a positive customer experience and efficient store operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment during peak seasons and in newly opened stores. This is a temporary seasonal, part-time position focused on nights and weekends. Associates provide customer service, handle transactions, promote customer initiatives, maintain merchandise displays, unload and organize deliveries, and help keep the store safe and orderly. The work takes place primarily in a climate-controlled environment, with duties performed across sales, stockroom/receiving, and operations/office areas whose conditions may vary by store. The position involves frequent physical activity, including moving, reaching, lifting, using hand tools, and climbing ladders. Associates should be able to lift 35 pounds regularly. Requirements

Basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service, build friendly rapport using the T.R.E.A.T. model, and foster a welcoming environment.
Operate a cash register, handle transactions accurately, and help customers with product inquiries, item locations, and purchases.
Promote company-wide customer initiatives, including donations, loyalty programs, and special offers.
Maintain accurate displays, restock assigned areas, and meet merchandising standards.
Unload deliveries according to company processes, organize merchandise, and prepare it for the sales floor.
Safely set up and move fixtures as needed.
Work collaboratively and independently to achieve goals, and communicate opportunities for improvement to store leadership.
Understand, support, and implement store safety protocols.
Keep the environment neat, organized, and safe through regular cleaning and janitorial tasks.
Perform other job duties and tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
