About The Position

As a Store Associate, you bring the Vera Bradley brand to life and represent the brand to customers. Working with store leadership, you help achieve sales goals and deliver an excellent shopping experience and best-in-class customer service. You uphold Vera Bradley’s core values and support its goal of making the world a brighter place through every customer touchpoint.

This is a seasonal retail position. The role includes recommending products, supporting sales through add-on selling and customer outreach, engaging customers through product knowledge and team selling, carrying out daily operational procedures, maintaining visual standards, and keeping the store organized and inviting. Associates are expected to be reliable and follow company policies and procedures.

The position requires constant walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching, strong sensory skills including eyesight, hearing, and dexterity, and the ability to lift 10–35 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 55 pounds. The role may also require pushing or pulling more than 55 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs.
• Ability to perform constant walking and standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 55 pounds, and to push or pull more than 55 pounds.
