About The Position
Music & Arts is seeking a customer-centric seasonal sales associate to help customers rent, purchase, and repair instruments during the peak season. The associate supports the company’s Customer First value by providing a positive in-store customer experience and working collaboratively in a retail environment. Music & Arts is part of the Guitar Center enterprise and operates more than 225 retail stores, 200 educational representatives, and 250 affiliate locations. Its mission is to enable people to experience the joy of playing an instrument.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to stand regularly; walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently; and sit or climb stairs or a ladder occasionally.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

- Familiarity with one or more musical instruments.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Work as part of a team in a retail environment.
- Assist with sales and rentals to meet or exceed goals.
- Help customers through the rental process and provide the correct products.
- Restock products on fixtures and store displays.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
