About The Position

Retail staff support Retail Operations in the daily operations of multiple stores. They work with store staff to ensure exceptional customer service and product knowledge for all customers, perform weekly inventory counts, and complete daily reports. This application is for the Summer 2027 season; applications for other seasons must be submitted through separate job listings.

Sea Base is one of four National High Adventure Bases operated by Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America). It offers programs such as fishing, sailing, scuba diving, coral restoration, snorkeling, kayaking, and camping across six operating locations. This role may be available at multiple locations, though not all locations have openings.

Sea Base staff work in a range of capacities supporting and operating programs throughout the year. The summer season runs approximately from mid-May through August and is the largest staffing opportunity. Employees have access to regular meals prepared by the food-services team and on-site housing during each employment term. Accommodations also include fitness rooms, recreational areas, and laundry machines. Staff may have opportunities to gain knowledge and certifications in scuba diving, lifeguarding, wilderness first aid, CPR, and SERV Safe.
